How to be a great notary public in California
How to be the best notary in California, 95020

Sometimes I ask myself, how do I know what I know now as a Notary Public and Loan Signing Agent? Frankly, I don't know when I learned what I know now, but I know what has helped me to become a great Notary Public and Loan Signing Agent! The answer is simple, continuous education from different sources! As a "new" notary in the industry, I can see why you may feel overwhelmed... and I get it! I agree with you. It is overwhelming, from thinking about if the notarization you're performing is within your state law, from the differences between notarial acts to which notary courses you should purchase to become the best notary and loan signing agent you can be.

Unfortunately, I can't tell you what notary courses fit your best needs! Every day, notary mentorships are born and are unique in their own way. While there is nothing wrong with notary mentorships being unique in their own way, you need to keep your eyes open for bogus advertainments.

So, you must explore and decide what notary source works best for you. One of many great things about being a notary is that you can wear different "hats."

For example, in some states, notaries are allowed to complete immigration documents. In contrast, in other states, notaries can not even in a non-notarial capacity unless that Notary is qualified and bonded as an immigration consultant. So, make sure you double and triple-check your state laws to avoid breaking your state law.

As a notary public, one thing to always remember is that people go on the website and print documents from another state that you may not be legally able to notarize in your state. For this reason and many more, you must continue your education as a notary to feel confident and competent when performing a notarization.

As a notary, you must have a solid foundation and knowledge of what you can and can't do while performing your duties. You, as a notary, need to feel confident and competent. As a Notary Public and Loan Signing Agent, I have been lucky to have come across two fantastic notary mentorships: Mrs. Laura Biewer (coachmelaura.com) and Notary Stars (notarystars.com).

I have found these two notary resources helpful in my notary career, but I can't promise they would work for you, too. Do your research and choose the best notary courses for you. Regardless of what notary course you get, try to get the best out of it, and most importantly, never stop learning! You will be surprised by how much there is to learn as a Notary Public other than just identifying the person in front of you.
